What is your Return Policy?

At Fresh Edge Industrial, we want every customer to shop with confidence. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ve made returns and refunds simple and fair. Here’s how it works:

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns after that time frame.

2. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll cover the return shipping cost.
If you’re returning an item because you changed your mind, you’ll be responsible for return shipping fees.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Received something broken or not working properly? Contact us within 30 days. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and once the item is returned and inspected, we’ll issue either a full refund or a replacement—including any original shipping costs.

4. Changed Your Mind?

If you no longer want the item, you can return it within 30 days—as long as it's unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. You’ll need to handle the return shipping, and once we receive and inspect it, we’ll refund the product cost (excluding shipping).

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll send a confirmation email and issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow additional time for banks or credit card companies to process and reflect the refund.

If it’s been over 10 business days since your refund was approved and you still don’t see it, contact us at support@freshedgeindustrial.com and we’ll look into it immediately.

6. Restocking Fees

In some cases, a restocking fee may apply depending on the item and return reason. If applicable, we’ll clearly communicate this during your return request process.

🧠 AC Drive with Regenerative and Electromagnetic Braking

The FB30R-197 uses a high-performance AC drive motor, delivering strong torque for both acceleration and incline control. Regenerative braking automatically activates when the operator releases the accelerator or switches direction, redirecting braking force into the battery. A rear-mounted electromagnetic brake provides reliable parking, and is automatically applied when the key is off, seat is empty, or during error shutdown.

📋 Control System and Drive Layout

The truck features rear-wheel drive with hydraulic power steering. Steering sensitivity is consistent across load states. The central controller manages travel, lift, and diagnostic logic. Directional commands are relayed through contactless sensors, reducing mechanical wear. All vehicle status data is shown via LED indicator and hour meter display near the steering column.

🔋 Lead-Acid Battery Configuration and Charging

This model is equipped with a 48V / 500Ah lead-acid battery. Charging is done using a separate external industrial charger (not included in truck body). The battery is mounted centrally and accessed from the top. Operators are required to refill distilled water at least once per week or every 10 charging cycles. Over-discharge protection is built-in and triggers buzzer + travel cutback when voltage drops below 44V.

🛞 Steering, Visibility, and Handling Feedback

The truck is fitted with solid rubber tires front and rear. The operator compartment includes a cushioned adjustable seat, dual-hand control levers, a mechanical steering column with shock dampers, and a full metal floorboard. Visibility is enhanced with an open-view mast structure and combination lighting system, including front work lights, turn indicators, brake light, and backup buzzer.

🛠️ Maintenance Access and Recommended Service Intervals

The top cover opens for access to hydraulic tank, control valve, motor, and electrical cabinet. Maintenance intervals:

Hydraulic oil (VG46): check monthly, replace every 1,200 hours
Brake clearance: 0.2–0.5 mm (adjust at 200-hour intervals)
Steering cylinder and mast pins: grease every 100 hours
Battery: inspect terminals, refill water, clean vent caps every week
Lift chain: inspect stretch and lubricate every 50 hours

A main fuse and emergency stop switch are mounted under the hood for quick electrical isolation.

🧯 High Lift Safety and Mechanical Limits

The mast assembly includes a height cut-off valve that limits lift above the 197" point. A hydraulic cushioning valve prevents rapid descent near ground level. In the event of control failure, a manual descent valve on the hydraulic pump can be activated. All forklifts are equipped with overload warning and travel speed limiter to reduce risk under heavy loads.
